Massassi is my African mythology project. I want to create a setting, a world inspired by african mythology for telling stories and sharing ideas. Massassi is named after a mythical goddess of land, fertile grass and tranquility.

So it would be safe to assume that that was also the basis for the Massassi people who inhabited Yavin 4 long before the Rebel Alliance used it for a base against the Galactic Empire?
