Tanya had the chance to visit a secret region of the Amazonian territory, Motl Island home of the Athle.

Athle's ancestors are the same as the Amazon's. A magical hominid slave race from the "Age of Wonders".

Like Amazons their physiques tend to 'perfection' and it's pretty hard for them to get out of shape.

Unlike Amazon's the Athle the slave locks that once shackled their ancestors minds have permanently scared their mental capacity for deceit, treachery and maliciousness so their all pretty naive.

The second major difference is that Athle can't reproduce with other hominid besides Amazon so they'd die out in a generation if it weren't for the Amazon's protection (Which they do zealously!)

Athle, while tending towards affection and generousity aren't really curious creatures. So far they've been content to stay on Motl island.

Motl Island is therefore a getaway retreat and reservation which privileged visitors (Mostly Amazon who've done really good, or are really stressed out) come to unwind.

Occasionally a special visitor is allowed to visit Motl island to "unwind" (But some serious favors have to be called in to get that kind of weekend.)

Tanya knew a friend who could call in that favor so here she is, in the bathing spring.

"Stryyp who!?!?"

(BTW there are exceptions to the Athle aren't curious rule... these guys... Later in 2013 they build a raft and find a lost water-borne portal to earth! Queen Jesyha left Princess L'retta in charge of the border they escaped from... L'retta's gotta get the chairwoman of the explorer's society to help her get these wandering nekked Athle back home quick!
